Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx Releases First 100 Days Update to the Community

Marking 100 days in office as of March 10, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx today released an update to her administration’s transition report detailing significant immediate progress made towards the key policy priorities identified in the report, including increasing transparency, accountability and integrity, addressing issues related to juvenile justice, and bolstering the work of the Civil Actions Bureau.

“My mission as State’s Attorney is to seek justice and I have spent my first 100 days in office taking significant steps to deliver on that promise. Justice comes in many forms and does not simply mean convictions and incarceration. It’s about doing the hard, often incremental work to make policy changes and adjustments to how we prosecute in order to build a solid foundation for the strong, credible and fair prosecutor’s office that Cook County deserves.”
