To navigate through this dashboard, select what data point you would like to graph. Then select what year (incident, arrest, or felony review) to use as a reference point for the case. For example, choosing convictions for aggravated battery domestic violence and selecting the felony review year as the year reference will give you the conviction rate by year, with year defined as cases that were approved by felony review within that year.
Felony Review, Charging, and Conviction
Felony Review, Charging, and Conviction are intended to be viewed together as each one describes a step in prosecuting a case. Felony Review displays the changing proportion of felony review outcomes year over year for all domestic violence felonies. Charging displays the specific domestic battery or aggravated domestic battery charges filed by the CCSAO, and Conviction displays the result for those charges.
