Statement from Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx on the 20-year Sentence for Robert Kelly by the Illinois Court

Today, Robert Kelly was sentenced to 20 additional years for sexual misconduct by the Illinois court. We hope that the victims find closure and comfort in the fact that Mr. Kelly will spend the majority of the rest of his life in prison. Justice has been served. Our office takes allegations of sexual abuse and assault very seriously and we will continue to work to bring justice to other victims.
