Cook County Jail Detainees Indicted for Sexual Assault at Markham Courthouse
Two Cook County Jail male detainees have been indicted on sexual assault charges in connection with a May 2017 attack on a female detainee which occurred in a lock-up area at the Markham Courthouse.
Hamidullah Tribble, 21, and Nelon Drake, 29, are charged with Criminal Sexual Assault (Class 1 Felony), for assaulting a 52-year-old female detainee while the three were in a lock up area for prisoners at the courthouse on May 2, 2017.
Both men remain in custody at the Cook County Jail on pending criminal cases. Tribble is currently held on $100,000 bail for charges of Aggravated Kidnapping of a Child, PSMV and Unlawful Restraint. Drake is held without bail for a First Degree Murder case and a separate case of Attempt Murder, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Discharge, and Aggravated Unlawful Restraint.
Tribble and Drake will be appear in court for a bond hearing at 9:00am on June 29, 2017 in Markham on the sexual assault charge.
